James Flanagan has lived and explored 4 continents, speaks a couple of languages, and is involved in building expatriate communities. Orange Gabriel Russel

Orange Yu was born in the hutongs of Beijing. She is an an optimist who strongly believes that “Things will only get better!”. In Hong Kong, she registered as a social worker and organized community empowerment initiatives. She returned to Beijing in the summer of 2009 to work for Youchange.

Gabriel Weyer has ran more than 1000 kilometers over the last two years and is looking forward to running a marathon on the Great Wall. He manages technology at TEDxBeijing. (LinkedIn, Twitter, Blog)

Russell Haines is an industrial designer credited with designing dozens of products for China’s largest PC company since 2005. Before graduating in Industrial Design from Massey University he designed jewelry, hand bags, and even concepts for an electric motorcycle. He can be found riding motorcycles in Beijing or exploring a new art gallery. Russel handles all TEDxBeijing design materials.
